Welcome to NTIF 2010. The subtle hint of the Maple leaf and the picture of a mist covered Nova Scotia seaport may tell you that the 2010 festival features some examples of the Celtic music and dance of the Canadian Maritime Provinces. The seaport featured in the picture is actually Peggy's Cove, is a small rural community located on the eastern shore of St. Margaret's Bay in Nova Scotia's Halifax Regional Municipality. More...

"Take the Green to the Green and save some Green." And, while you're at it, you can be Green as well!
The new Fair Park Station is well lit and will have additional security to ensure the safety of our visitors. Oh, and we will be working closely with DART to ensure that there is no repeat of the TX/OU weekend delays!
Check here for more information on DART including system maps, schedules and fares.
Additional service for Saturday, March 6: In addition to regularly scheduled service, Green Line trains will operate every 10 minutes between 9:30 a.m. and 6:45 p.m. and every 15 minutes between 8 p.m. to 11:15 p.m. Last scheduled Green Line train from Fair Park Station to Victory Station departs at 12:07 a.m. on Saturdays.
Buying two tickets on DART is cheaper than parking one car in Fair Park!
Good news/bad news, depending on whether you have made your reservation or not. The Radisson is now totally sold out of all rooms for the weekend. Not even a laundry room floor left for a sleeping bag?
The La Quinta at 4440 North Central Expressway at Knox has set aside a block of 20 rooms - ask for Irish Festival rates. The NTIF shuttle will call at the La Quinta. There are other alternate hotels in the area, however we have no negotiated rates and there will be no shuttle service. You may drive to the Radisson and park if you wish. More...
We have had a great response to our call for volunteers, especially since the start of the year. That has caused us to get a little behind in our application processing. Please be patient - applications are being processed in the order they were received! You will hear from us very soon.
It's still not too late to volunteer. We will be taking applications up to the minute we open, but don't delay to get the good shifts. More...
The inspiring Texas Hall of State will be open to visitors to NTIF during normal opening hours. The front steps will also be used for performances by the North Texas Caledonian Pipes and Drums.
Maps of the festival and Fair Park are now available online. If you need to drive to Fair Park, please note the parking and access instructions. DART, however, would be a much better way to travel right to our front door.
