Volunteer Applications

Volunteer applications are now being sought for NTIF 2010. We have all kinds of openings available for all age groups and also for families, singles groups, corporate groups etc.

Why Volunteer

First and foremost - we all have a lot of fun!

For each 3-hour shift worked you will receive a free beverage of your choice at the Festival. One 3-hour shift gets you free admission into the Festival on the day of your shift. Two or more 3-hour shifts get you free admission into the Festival on all three days plus you will receive a free NTIF volunteer T-shirt.

Secondly, the NTIF volunteers are like a family - albeit a large family of over 500. Many of our volunteers return year after year, often to work in the same area, but sometimes they like to try something new. Whatever your preference, you are a welcome member of one of the most dedicated and hard working families in Texas.

How to Volunteer

Returning volunteers will shortly be receiving a postcard from our volunteer coordinator asking if they want to return this year. Simply return the form or contact the volunteer coordinator directly and tell her that you will be returning.

New volunteers can either sign up here online or just attend one of the volunteer orientation sessions planned for early in the new year. Even if you sign up online or by returning the postcard, attending the volunteer meetings is a good way to become reacquainted with old friends, and get the latest information on what we are planning for this years festival.

Work Areas

If you want to find out more about the various volunteer work areas, check out the special page on the left. You will find that in almost all areas no special skills are required, and wherever you work there will be plenty of managers and long time volunteers ready and willing to help you.

Junior Volunteers

Let's face it, none of us are getting any younger, and the only way that the traditions of NTIF will continue are through the spirit of our junior volunteers. Many areas are well suited to an entire family working together to teach the value of community volunteering. Check with the volunteer coordinator if you wish to participate as a family.
